General

FIBARO ID is a unique form of identification for FIBARO users which allows you to log in once to access all FIBARO services.

With FIBARO ID you may use Remote Access (home.fibaro.com), and soon enjoy even more features. We are planning to launch a remote customer support as well as a developer’s panel.

Make sure that the e-mail address you use with your Remote Access account (home.fibaro.com) is correct and update your Home Center to version 4.110. After that, update FIBARO mobile app to the latest version. When you receive an activation e-mail concerning your FIBARO ID, activate the account by clicking the link and setting a password.

Up until the end of March 2017 you will be able to log in using either the current method or FIBARO ID via home.fibaro.com. Starting from April 2017 FIBARO ID will become the only available method of logging in.

The e-mail you have received contains the activation link. Click it to be taken to the login screen. When logging in for the first time, you will be asked to create a new password. Then you may log in at https://id.cloud.fibaro.com.

If you do not activate FIBARO ID, your old account will be disabled in April 2017.

Yes, but due to security reasons we recommend using FIBARO ID or VPN.

Yes, using Remote Access through FIBARO ID is not mandatory.

Version 4.110 provides key changes in security, which are mandatory for proper work within FIBARO ID when using mobile app for Remote Access. If you don’t use mobile app, updating to 4.110 is not necessary, but we recommend updating your gateway to latest GA version.

We store only data mandatory to log in to Remote Access and general statistic data (not identifying or individual). Home Center local credentials are not stored.

No, if it was not active before, it will not be enabled automatically. You need to add Home Center to Remote Access manually like right now.

Troubleshooting

There are few things you can do:
1) Make sure you have access to the Internet.
2) Update your Home Center to 4.110 version.
3) Update your mobile app.
4) Make sure your Home Center is working properly and is connected to the Internet.
5) Make sure you activated your FIBARO ID account.
6) Make sure you linked FIBARO ID account with Remote Access or moved your Home Centers from Remote Access to FIBARO ID.
7) Make sure you accepted Terms of Use of new Remote Access.
8) Try restarting your Home Center.
If the problem still occurs, wait a few minutes and try again or contact FIBARO support ([email protected]).

If FIBARO ID configuration screen has not appeared, go to Settings and tap Configure in Fibaro ID section.

If you log in for the first time, make sure you use the same e-mail address as for your Remote Access account.

If you went through the Wizard, make sure you are using your e-mail as a login (not admin like before).

Yes, it has to be changed to your e-mail address during the Wizard.

First of all, check your SPAM folder. If you have not found an e-mail there, your account may not have been migrated yet. Please wait a few days and contact the FIBARO support if the e-mail has still not arrived ([email protected]). You can speed up sending the activation e-mail by visiting https://id.cloud.fibaro.com and entering your e-mail address. Activation link will be sent within a few minutes.

Go to https://id.cloud.fibaro.com and type in your e-mail address – the activation link will be resent if your e-mail exists in our database. If not, you will be redirected to the registration page.

In order to solve this issue, read our tutorial or follow the steps below:
1) Log in to the Remote Access (home.fibaro.com) using your current username and password (via Try logging in with your old USER NAME link).
2) Remove the HC gateway assigned to this account (if you are not nearby the device, log in to the interface and write down the Serial number and MAC address).
3) Log in to your FIBARO ID (https://id.cloud.fibaro.com), select Services and click More in Remote Access panel.
4) Click Log in in the opened website, then Add HC, fill in the Serial number and MAC, and click Add.

Such situation may occur if the account linking process was omitted during the migration or you have signed up to FIBARO ID account using a different e-mail address than the one given in the Remote Access.

Unfortunately, not. Until updating the gateway, Remote Access will be possible only through the web browser.

Try to log in at id.cloud.fibaro.com using your e-mail address or use updated FIBARO mobile app to do so. Activation link will be resent and you will be able to create a Fibaro ID, what is necessary.

Just be sure to enter the old Remote Access login assigned to your Home Center while linking accounts.

Version 4.110 provides key changes in security, which are mandatory for proper work within FIBARO ID when using mobile app for Remote Access. If you don’t use mobile app, updating to 4.110 is not necessary, but we recommend updating your gateway to latest GA version.
